Office and School-Based Programs offered at SMCSI and Hudson Schools

Family Medical Center of Michigan has a team of trained and certified Psychiatrists, Master's Prepared Psychologists, Counselors, and Social Workers here to help assess and manage behavioral health concerns for yourself or your child. We offer family & couples counseling as well as individual appointments for students, parents/guardians and all school staff. These appointments can be conducted in person, video or telephone appointments.

Our experienced staff can help with any of the issues commonly seen in adults and school aged children including:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Trauma / PTSD

  • ADHD

  • Oppositional Defiant Disorder

  • Conduct Disorder

  • Adjustment issues

  • Stress Management

  • Symptom Management

  • Abuse and Neglect

  • Grief and Loss

 

In addition, many have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the complications that it has had for students and families. This includes lack of socialization, coping skills, virtual learning & focusing on schoolwork from home. Our BHS are offering telehealth appointments to help you navigate through these difficult times.
